As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sabah Net has granted FULL Scholarships to two Sabahan to pursue a 2 year Diploma in Computer Networking. The Scholarships are granted to deserving students every year and this year, Abdul Wafi Syazwan Bin Japdan and Mariah Natasha Binti Ranjan were nominated as the Scholarships recipients. The scholarship covers the full course fees worth RM 24,000 each.
The Scholarship Signing Ceremony Award was held earlier today, 20th September 2017. The ceremony started off with the signing session between Mr Nelson Chua (CEO of Sabah Net) and the Scholarship recipients. It was later followed by the presentation of the Scholarship by Mr Nelson Chua to the scholarship recipients witnessed by their proud parents.
Both of the Scholarship recipients are currently undergoing Diploma in Computer Networking in AMC College. It is a 2-year programme which is approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and fully accredited by the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA). Graduated students of this programme can progress to complete their undergraduate degree in local private universities or at established Universities overseas such as University of Sunderland in the UK, University of Southern Queensland in Australia and UCSI University in Malaysia, among others.
En. Abdul Wafi Syazwan who is one of the recipient expressed his joy and said “this scholarship has made my career dream come true. I am thankful to Sabah Net for this award and I looked forward to build an exciting career in the growing ICT industry.”
Ms Maria Natasha, another recipient quoted “through the program, I hope to learn as much as possible in the field of ICT especially as a future intern in Sabah Net which is a reputable & leading company in Sabah.
