Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Introduction
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize your investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of your employer’s network. CCNA Routing and Switching is for Network Specialists, Network Administrators, and Network Support Engineers with 1-3 years of experience. The CCNA Routing and Switching validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks.

Course Structure
The program consists of 2 major parts:

Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1)
Module 1 – Building a Simple Network
Module 2 – Establishing Internet Connectivity
Module 3 – Managing Network Device Security
Module 4 – Building a Medium-sized Network
Module 5 – Introducing IPv6 ICND1 Super Lab

Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2)
Module 0 – Introduction
Module 1 – Review
Module 2 – Implementing Scalable Medium-sized Networks
Module 3 – Troubleshooting BAsic Connectivity
Module 4 – Implementing an EIGRP-based Solution
Module 5 – Implementing a Scalable Multiarea Network OSPF- Based solution
Module 6 – Wide Area Networks
Module 7 – Network Device Management
Module 8 – ICND2 Superlab

Schedule

  • Weekday Evenings: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (6.00pm to 9.30pm)
    OR
  • Weekend: Saturday & Sunday (9:00am to 4:00pm)

Awards

  • Certificate of Attendance
  • CCNA Certification (Upon Passed)

Entry Requirements

  • Form 5 school leavers with good command of English
  • Diploma or degree holders with IT qualifications
  • Working adults with 2 years of IT working experience
  • Knowledge in windows operating system, server administrations, networking and security is an advantage
