AMC College Scores Top Achievement In 2019 CCNA & MCSA Examinations

Congratulations to all our 23 trainees who passed the CISCO Certified Network Associate (Routing & Switching) examinations conducted on 5 August 2019 at AMC College, Likas Square Commercial Centre, Kota Kinabalu!

The training, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Innovation, Sabah, achieved a 100% passing rate

CCNA is one of the internationally recognized IT certified professional courses offered at AMC College since 2011.  With a duration of 112 hours, the CCNA Routing and Switching course is offered to Network Specialists, Network Administrators, and Network Support Engineers with 1-3 years of experience. The course validates the ability to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks.

This course not only helps to improve the productivity of the IT industry but also provides potential manpower which is in high demand in Sabah.  To date, AMC College has trained up to 439 participants.

AMC College is also the test centre for Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and CompTIA+.  Students who took the MCSA test also produced remarkable results with a 96% passing rate for the July 2019 examination.

One of the MCSA trainees, Mohd Helmi Bin Ali from Desa Plus, remarked, “The MCSA course is perfect for young or working IT professional to promote their career progress. The course is well prepared with good facilities and up-to-date syllabus from Microsoft. AMC College offers MCSA, CCNA and CompTIA+ on a part-time basis. Its full-time 2.5-year Diploma program, Diploma in Information Technology (Networking), is offered to Form 5 school leavers. The Diploma incorporates MCSA and CCNA qualifications, as well as providing a progression pathway to local and overseas universities with direct entry to second or even final year in related degree programs. The next coming intake starts on 26 August 2019. Financial assistance available to students include scholarships and PTPTN study loans.
