This degree programme will equip you with a deep understanding of accounting and finance and their importance within an organisational and business context. On completion, you will have substantial exemptions from the examinations required to become a member of the major professional accountancy bodies.
Graduates of the Leeds Beckett University Degree in Accounting and Finance will be given exemptions for:
- ACCA – 9 papers
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants – 7 papers
- CIMA – 8 papers
Academic Linkage
Upon completion of this 3 years programme, students will be in a position to either go into the job market or pursue a higher qualification leading to a Master Degree level in business related fields locally or internationally.

Entry Requirements
- A pass in STPM with a minimum grade C+ (CGPA 2.33) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or
- A pass in STAM with minimum grade of Jayyid (good) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or
- A pass in A-level, with a minimum Grade E in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics and a pass English at SPM level or
- A pass in UEC with a minimum Grade B in 5 subjects or
- A pass in Matriculation / Foundation / Asasi with a minimum CGPA 2.50 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or
- A pass in Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in accounting or any related fields with a minimum CGPA 2.50
- A score of IELTS 6.0 / MUET Band 4 or
- Any other equivalent qualifications
