2,000 Trees for the Future: AMC University College Joins Hands to Green Darau Wetland

11 MAY 2024 – DARAU WETLAND ECO-TOURISM, MENGGATAL

A total of 2,000 mangrove trees were successfully planted along the Darau River. The plainting is a Local Agenda 21 Program (LA21).and also a program to fulfill the Global Action Plan for Sustainable Development towards the 21st century .

The CSR club of AMC University College together with the AMC alumni members have responded to the call to conserve the nature.

This effort was jointly organised by Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), Koperasi Komuniti Darau Wetland Berhad,Department of Environmental Protection (JPAS) and Department of Environment (DOE) .
