11 MAY 2024 –  KK WETLAND RESTORATION, LIKAS

In conjuction with the World Wetland Day, MK Group of companies , represented by AMC University College , Globinaco Sdn Bhd and TP Sdn Bhd had joined hand with Kota Kinabalu Wetland to carry out activities in cleaning and planting new mangrove trees in the wetland.

Wetlands are disappearing three times faster than forests! The planting of mangrove trees intend to raise awareness to many about its unique value and importance to ecosystem including human life and providing habitat to flora and to fauna.

KK Wetland was declared a State Cultural Heritage Site in 1998 and was designated as a Ramsar site on October 22, 2016.
