Our programmes undergo formal quality assurance and accreditation processes to ensure they meet established Malaysian higher education standards.

MQA Accreditation

The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) is Malaysia’s national quality assurance agency for higher education.

MQA accreditation evaluates key areas including:

  • Curriculum and programme structure
  • Academic staff
  • Teaching and learning
  • Student assessment
  • Learning resources and facilities
  • Quality management
Understanding MQA Accreditation

PA — Provisional Accreditation

Provisional Accreditation (PA) is the initial quality assessment by MQA for a new programme. The programme has met the requirements to be offered and is progressing towards Full Accreditation.

FA — Full Accreditation

Full Accreditation (FA) is the formal quality assessment conducted by MQA after a programme has been implemented. The programme has successfully met MQA’s full accreditation requirements.

Accredited programmes are registered in the Malaysian Qualifications Register (MQR).
