AMC University College (AMC UC), in collaboration with the Sandakan Business Development Association (SBDA), successfully conducted the AI Commercial Applications Training Programme, bringing together 25 SBDA members to explore practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in today’s business environment.
The training programme was designed to equip entrepreneurs and business leaders with the knowledge and practical skills needed to leverage AI technologies to enhance productivity, improve customer engagement, streamline operations, and strengthen business competitiveness in an increasingly digital economy.
The initiative reflects SBDA’s commitment to supporting the digital transformation of local businesses by providing members with opportunities to stay ahead of emerging technological trends. Through the programme, participants gained valuable insights into how AI can be integrated into various business functions, enabling organisations to operate more efficiently while creating new opportunities for innovation and growth.
The training also marks an important milestone following the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SBDA and AMC University College, reinforcing a shared commitment to promoting lifelong learning, industry collaboration, and professional development.
