AMC University College Celebrates 16 Years of Empowering More Than 660,000 Sabahans.
AMC University College, through its parent company, Advanced Business Systems Consultants Sdn. Bhd. (ABSC), is the appointed training provider for the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Sabah (KPSTI). Over the past 16 years, ABSC has successfully delivered one of Malaysia’s largest government-sponsored ICT and language training initiatives, empowering hundreds of thousands of Sabahans with industry-relevant digital and communication skills.
Since 2011, the programme has successfully trained 660,139 participants, making it one of the state’s largest lifelong learning and workforce development initiatives. These achievements reflect AMC University College’s long-term commitment to developing digital talent, reducing the digital divide and preparing Sabah for the AI-driven economy.

What began with only 48 courses in 2011 has expanded to 216 industry-relevant courses in 2026, ensuring that every programme remains aligned with Industry 5.0, Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, digital marketing, data analytics, software development, networking, business productivity and communication skills.

OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION RESULTS
Professional certification remains one of AMC University College’s strongest achievements.
Between 2011 and 2025:
- 6,397 participants sat for international certification examinations.
- 5,363 participants successfully obtained internationally recognised certifications.
- Overall examination pass rate reached 83.8%.
Many individual years recorded pass rates exceeding 90%, demonstrating the quality of training, experienced instructors and comprehensive learning materials developed by AMC University College.
